Teaching approach

I don't believe in generic worksheets. Every student who works with me starts from where they actually are — not where the syllabus assumes they are. We build fluency in small, deliberate steps, and I spend far more time on the 'why' behind a method than on the method itself. Confidence follows understanding, not the other way round.

11 years teaching GCSE Mathematics across state and independent schools, with a focus on late-stage exam preparation and closing foundational gaps quickly.

Tips & resources

tip

The non-calculator mistake nearly every Foundation student makes

A quick way to check your working on multi-step percentage questions — without reaching for a calculator you won’t have in the exam.

resource

Algebra warm-up: 10 minutes before every session

The short drill I open every lesson with — it resets fluency faster than a full past paper.
